HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) uses fusing and detailing agents over a powdered Nylon 12 building area, with infrared lamps fusing an entire layer in a single pass. This highly efficient method can build functional, geometrically complex parts 80 micron layers at a time, with mechanical properties that rival injection molded parts.
Powder Bed Fusion offers a wide range of material options. Choose materials such as titanium, tool steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) yields accurate prototypes as well as functional production parts with quick turnaround.
Parts made using Powder Bed Fusion require limited support structures during printing, due to the unused powder acting as support. This can result in complex internal structures. Examples include the cooling channels inside turbine blades; excess powder can simply be poured out of these internal volumes.
