SLM - ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING - 3D PRINTED METAL PROTOTYPES & PRODUCTION PARTS
The ultimate in speed and precision for metal 3D printing, Metal Laser Sintering, also known as Selective Laser Melting, or SLM, additively manufactures dense metal parts one 30-micron layer at a time. In this process, dual 400-watt lasers micro-weld metal alloy powders together as a bi-directional recoater blade deposits the next layer of alloy powder. With the unique dual laser features, our metal technology builds robust, metal prototypes and end-use parts up to 50% faster than competing additive metal processes, with accurate, fine features and complex geometries that would otherwise be impossible to machine.
