SLM - ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING - 3D PRINTED METAL PROTOTYPES & PRODUCTION PARTS
The ultimate in speed and precision for metal 3D printing, DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering), also known as SLM (Selective Laser Melting), additively manufactures dense metal parts one 30-micron layer at a time. In this process, dual 400-watt lasers micro-weld metal alloy powders together as a bi-directional recoater blade deposits the next layer of alloy powder. With the unique dual laser features, our metal technology builds robust, metal prototypes and end-use parts up to 50% faster than competing additive metal processes, with accurate, fine features and complex geometries that would otherwise be impossible to machine.
