UABS 85
A superior, high performance urethane with a notched IZOD impact strength greater than 2.0! This robust, all purpose resin is our most popular choice for tough ABS-like prototypes, and is Certified to USP Class VI requirements.

UABS 83
Our preferred general purpose cast urethane for strong, tough parts that have an excellent impact strength. If even better mechanical strengths are desired, a post cure can acheive better results - talk to your project manager to learn more. Spec sheet coming soon.

UABS HIB - High Impact BlackFor applications that require very tough, durable cast components, this is your resin. Only available in black, this material has good rigidity and stiffness with a very high modulus. With a notched Izod Impact strength rated at 2.64 ft/lb right out of the tool, or up to 3.17 with a post-cure, it's able to withstand rigorous testing requirements.

UABS 86 UV
If you're looking for a UV stable short-run production resin that will last, this is your choice. This high performance resin is a rigid 86D, with a waterclear base that allows for a precise color matching for the most discerning aesthetic requirements. This resin also exhibits high heat distortion temperature and very good impact resistance.

UABS FR3
Excellent choice for production of fire retardant parts with very good appearance and tough, durable properties, High IZOD impact strength, tensile strength and flexural strength. Meets UL94V0 requirements at 0.100 inch thickness and meets requirements of FAR 28.853 for flammability.

UABS HT
Our highest rated heat resistant material, great for short run production applications where cast-in color applications are required.

 

 

EABS
Performance, ABS-like, epoxy material for short run production and prototyping, offers good chemical resistance in harsh environments.

 

UABS RT
A low shrinkage urethane, for very accurate cast parts.

UABS 2
A high impact, rigid 78 Shore D material with heat deflection temperatures up to 220°F (104°C). Ideal for computer housings, models, electronic components and more.

90 SHORE A
Very good elongation makes this product perfect for antennas, grommets, abrasion resistant parts and linings, bumpers, rails, paper feed rollers, holding fixtures and other hard rubber applications.

20A SILICONE
A clear, high strength silicone that produces intricate details and maintains tight tolerances.

 

40A SILICONE
A clear, high strength silicone that produces intricate details and maintains tight tolerances.

 

60A SILICONE
A true platinum based RTV silicone for applications that require the unique properties of a true silicone material. Some limitations in applications for casting and tooling do exist, please contact us for more detail.

ECO PERFORMANCE RESINS

Super Sap 1000
An all purpose, high strength epoxy similar to ABS for prototype castings. Super Sap™ formulations contain bio-renewable materials sourced as co-products or from waste streams of other industrial processes, such as wood pulp and bio-fuels production. These natural components have excellent elongation properties.

Super Sap CLR
SUPER SAP™ CLR System is a UV stabilized, fiber-reinforced composite epoxy system, suitable for use where low color and clarity are desired. These natural components have excellent elongation properties.

REPLACING PETROCHEMICALS WITH A SHARED BIO-MASS STREAM
Forecast 3D has partnered with Entropy Resins whose goal is to create high performance resins that optimize the sustainability of our customers' end products while improving performance. They have replaced petroleum based chemicals with bio-based renewable feedstocks. This has enabled them to lower the resins environmental impact from processing by employing bio-derived materials such as pine oils sourced as co-products from wood pulp processing and vegetable oil components sourced from the waste stream of bio-fuel processing.

SPECIAL APPLICATION PLASTICS

UABS AF - Advanced Formula glass filled urethane
With the addition of milled glass fibers into our very popular UABS 85 material, we create a composite urethane with high performance characteristics not normally found in thermoset plastics. In situations where greater part stiffness is required, by the addition of these reinforcing fibers, UABS-AF can produce castings that have improved stiffness and excellent impact resistance along with a very high Flexural Modulus. This material has the strength to perform in the most demanding of prototype and production applications.

UPRO/60 SHORE D
Perfect for use of living hinge application.

 

 

 

UPRO-70 SHORE D
Simulates polypropylene / polyethylene for applications in motorsports and consumer goods.

Conforms to the requirements for a USP class VI medical grade plastic. High strength, ridged bonds, resistant to chemicals including water. Can be subjected to some forms of sterilizations.
