The Forecast 3D My Account system allows you to:
- Submit quotes and upload 3D CAD files through our web interface.
- View your quote / job history.
- Pay for quotes with a credit card.
- View and track the progress of quotes and jobs.
- View shipment tracking information.
- Allow others to view and pay for specific quotes.

How do I set up a new account?Back to Top

You can set up a new account by clicking the "New User" button the the login page. A small window will pop up asking for your email address. You will receive an email with instructions and an activation link. The link will automatically log you into the My Account system and bring you to the My Profile page where you can enter your personal information, change your password, and upload an avatar graphic if you like.

How do I recover my password?Back to Top

You can recover your lost password by clicking the "Lost Password" button the the login page. A small window will pop up asking for your email address. Your password will be reset to a randomly generated password and an email will be sent to the email address you specified. The email will contain a link to log you in to your account and bring you to the Edit Profile page. We recommend you pick a new password that is convenient for you.

Can I have multiple accounts?Back to Top

Normally you can only have one account but it you are already in the system with multiple accounts, they can be accessed individually. With the same email address, different passwords can be used to access the different accounts. If you perform a Lost Password recovery as mentioned above, it will reset all of the passwords associated with that email address to the same one. When you click on the link in your email, it will log you in to the first account tied to that email address. You should change the password for that account to something corresponding to that account. (Like a variation of the company name.) You can then go back to your email and click the loss password recovery link again, and it will log you into the next account associated with that email address, that still has the random password.

What's an avatar?Back to Top

An avatar is a graphic to represent you. It's a fun (and optional) feature we added to make My Account, your account.

Can I delete my avatar?Back to Top

Yes, you can delete your avatar by visiting the Edit Profile page, and without specifying a file, click [Upload].

I'm having a problem with Internet Explorer.Back to Top

The My Account site uses the current HTML and CSS standards. Older versions of Internet Explorer (below 8) have issues with displaying content properly and are not supported. We recommend you use a current version Internet Explorer (8+), Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Google Chrome to view the My Account system.

I just submitted a quote and I don't see it on my dashboard.Back to Top

At the moment, quotes will not show up on your dashboard until your request has been processed by our team. When your quote is ready, you will receive an email with a link to the quote on your dashboard. We are planning to improve this in future versions of the dashboard.

When uploading files, I click "Select Files" and nothing happens...Back to Top

...or there's a red X over the S in Select Files. Our equote upload application uses Adobe Flash and Javascript. If clicking on "Select Files" does nothing, it may be because your Flash plugin is not installed or disabled. Other possible causes include your company's firewall filtering SWF files, or Ad Blocking addons like NoScript filtering out the Flash plugin.

My quote had some weird estimated shipping charges.Back to Top

The shipping estimator does not take part nesting into account. As such, it may calculate shipping for a larger box than is actually needed. The estimated shipping is only for your convenience and may not reflect the actual shipping charges. When your order is ready to ship and your credit card billed, it will use the actual shipping charges.

Can I edit or revise my quote through My Account?Back to Top

At the moment, it's not possible to edit your quote once it has been submitted. Please contact your Project Manager or Sales Representative regarding any changes to a quote.

I need help with a particular quote.Back to Top

On each quote page, next to the listed Sales Representative and Project Manager is a button to "Get help with this quote". Clicking on this button will launch your email client with the email addresses of the general dashboard help and your Project Manager.

When is my credit card charged?Back to Top

Your credit card will be charged when your order is ready to ship, using the quoted price and the actual shipping cost and sales tax if applicable. When you pay for your quote, your credit card will be authorized with our credit card processor. This step does not bill your credit card, it only checks to make sure that the credit card is valid and could pay for the quote amount plus a catch-all percentage. Again, the authorize step does not bill your card, it just checks if it would work. If there is any issue with the authorize step, our project managers will be alerted and contact you.

How is my credit card information stored?Back to Top

In the time between paying for your quote and when it ships, your credit card information is stored securely on our server using the latest in financial grade encryption. When your credit card is billed the information is deleted.

Can you keep my credit card information on file for next time?Back to Top

Yes, when you enter your credit card information to pay for a quote, there will be an option to "Keep credit card info on file". The default option is "No", but if you wish to keep your credit card info on file, select "Yes". The information is stored securely on our server. See our Privacy Policy for more info regarding the information collected and stored.

How do I delete my stored credit card information?Back to Top

In the Edit Profile page, there will be a "Manage Credit Card Info" box if you have a credit card on file.

What happens to my stored credit card info if I perform a Lost Password Recovery?Back to Top

Your stored credit card information is keyed to your password. If your password changes, like by doing a Lost Password Recovery, your credit card information will no longer be accessible. If you then set your password back to what it used to be, the credit card information will be accessible again.

Can Buyers use my stored credit card info?Back to Top

No, the stored credit card info is specific to your account / password.

What is the buyer email and how does it work?Back to Top

The buyer email field is a way to allow someone else access to that particular quote. Say if you were an engineer and uploaded the CAD files, you could specify someone else in your company to be able to view that quote, and pay for it if desired. Or to allow team leader to view the progress of a quote.

Yes, just separate the email addresses with a comma ( , ).

How do you edit/remove buyers from a quote?Back to Top

When viewing a quote, it will list the current Buyers in the Send to Buyer/PM field. You can remove the email address from that field and hit "Send to Buyer" to update it.
